Goal: Replace current laundry machines with 2 sets of commercial-grade washers and dryers.

We currently have 2 washers and 2 dryers, which always seem to be malfunctioning. It always seems that as soon as we get one of our machines fixed, another one breaks down. With over 200 cats currently in our care and over 100 dogs, our laundry load is growing exponentially. The machines we have were not meant to be running all day, every day of the week. 15-20 loads of laundry must be done every day in order to provide clean, comfortable kennels for each of our dogs and clean condos for each of our cats.

Our generous community partner, Premier Realty Group has generously issued a 'MATCH" challenge to all who care about homeless animals. They will match every donation, up to $2,404!

The Humane Society of St. Lucie County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and safe shelter for homeless animals and education to the community on responsible pet ownership. We are proud to be an official no-kill shelter with the goal of finding good, safe, and loving homes for all of the animals in our care since October 2019.
