2022 Hybrid 5K and 1-mile Kids Fun Run

Please join us for MS Moments’ 7th Annual 5K and Kids 1-mile Fun Run on Saturday, April 30, 2022. 

This is a hybrid event where you may participate either virtually or in-person!

We would like to invite supporters from all over to run, walk, swim, hike, bike, roll or just move in any way that you can for 3.1 miles (5K) in order to support our MS Moments community.

Our 5K and Kids Run can be virtual so that you have the flexibility to participate wherever, whenever is most convenient and comfortable for you.

Or - join us in-person at Walker Johnston Park in Urbandale, Iowa on Saturday, April 30th to walk/run as a group!

Breakfast will be available after the race.  

Click REGISTRATION...  Registration for the 2022 Stomp Out MS 5K and 1-mile Kids Fun Run opens on Monday, March 1st. Register by April 14th to guarantee that you will receive a 2022 Stomp Out MS race packet with: finisher medal, race bib and race swag. Race packets will be available for pickup or mailed directly to you.
-Register early. Walk-up registration will be available on race day for an increased fee.


Click FORM A TEAM... Create (or join) a fundraising team for your friends and family to join. Fundraising is encouraged and welcomed to help keep MS Moments’ programs running.
- Add your photo to your page, tell everyone what event you'll be doing, when, and where, and why you're stoked to be supporting MS Moments!  Don't forget to set your fundraising goal!

Click BUY A SHIRT... You have a choice between short-sleeve tshirt, long-sleeve tshirt and hooded sweatshirt.
- Items ordered after April 14th will be shipped to you directly after the 5K event ends on April 30th.

Click VOLUNTEER... On race day, we can use all the help we can get!  From setting up the race route to handing-out water and cheering on our “Stompers”, this event requires extra assistance to make sure that this is a fun and safe event for everyone.

- Volunteers are asked to be at Walker Johnston Park from 7:30am-11am on Saturday, April 30th.  Students needing volunteer hours are encouraged!

Opening Ceremonies

Stomp Out MS will kick off with a special Opening Ceremonies program which will air live on MS Moments’ Facebook page at 8:30am (CST) on Saturday, April 30, 2022.  We want you to be a part of the program either from home or with us at the park... The atmosphere on race day is very special and something you won't want to miss! Unite with your family and friends, dress up in orange, and join us!
