Our theme this year is the Monarch Butterfly and how its growth and journey define its existence. Join us for an engaging evening as we take you through our 5 year journey in imagining a South Dakota that is diverse, inclusive and anti-racist and highlight the growth of our work which includes legal services, advocacy, education and community building.
SDVFP launched the state's only free immigration legal services to survivors of violence and children who are in immigration court. Our services provide immigrants legal work permits and a path to citizenship - true hope for a better life. With over 600 Unaccompanied Minors from Central America placed to a South Dakota sponsor, the need for these legal services is dire. Join us to celebrate their journey and increase our capacity to allow immigrants in our community to see their hopes and dreams become reality.
