2022 Slambovian Circus of Dreams
Purveyors of Rootsy Rockin’ Psychedelica
The Slambovian Circus of Dreams – hailing from the storied village of Sleepy Hollow in New York’s Hudson Valley – has been expanding the borders of Americana with fantastic tales and genre-stretching live performances since the late 1990s. The Slambovian sound draws from elements of Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Incredible String Band, Syd Barrett and The Waterboys. Add a good dose of Woodstock-era psychedelia framed in solid songwriting, and there you have it.
Led by charismatic frontman Joziah Longo in the center ring and joined onstage by co-founding members Tink Lloyd on accordion, cello, mandolin and flute, and Sharkey McEwen on electric guitar, The Slambovians’ legendary connection with live audiences taps into a sense of greater human-ness. “They take the stage by storm!” hails New York Times, delivering a captivating live show that is constantly evolving.
The Slambovians are touring in support of their 6th full-length studio album, A Very Unusual Head, released this past January. More information on all things Slambovian at Slambovia.com.
