A Night of Hope for MBC - December 3, 2022
Please help us raise money to support research for metastatic breast cancer
A
Night of Hope for MBC
is an annual event to raise money to support research for metastatic breast
cancer (stage 4). Unfortunately, little money that is raised for
breast cancer actually goes toward research and research is the only thing that
will give those diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer a change for a
cure. In 2020, Chandelle Pluff Albert
passed away from stage 4 breast cancer, only two years after her stage 4 diagnosis. In 2019, A Night of Hope for MBC
raised $85,000 that went directly to metastatic breast cancer research at Dana
Farber Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center through The
Cancer Couch Foundation, a local Connecticut, privately funded, non-profit
organization. We will again donate proceeds from this year’s event to support
The Cancer Couch Foundation in honor of Chandelle and the founder Rebecca
Timlin-Scalera, PHD who passed away from MBC in December of 2019. Additionally, we have again selected Ann’s Place,
a support organization in Danbury, CT that provides free support services for
people with cancer, as our Angel Fund.
10% of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Ann’s Place again in
2022 ($8500 was donated in 2019).
This year's event will take place on December 3rd, 2022 at 5:00pm at The Amber Room Colonnade located at 1 Stacey Road, Danbury, Connecticut. Please join us for a fun filled evening with dinner, dancing and silent auction!
