Shleimut Cohort on Israel Palestine (Pittsburgh)
Addressing Israel/Palestine through a Jewish spiritual, social justice lens.
Four Sundays in the fall/winter of 2022:
November 20, December 4, 11, 18 (3 hour session on Dec. 18)
10am - 12pm ET (10am - 1pm ET on Dec. 18)
via Zoom
Israel/Palestine poses one of the most critical dilemmas facing the Jewish people today.
Through a series of participatory workshops, Shleimut offers a gentle yet powerful approach for Jewish communities to consider a diversity of approaches to Israel/Palestine, including solidarity and resistance work.
Read a detailed outline of the workshops here.
Jews of all backgrounds are welcome. No particular knowledge or expertise in Israel/Palestine is required. As a cohort, we will share our personal experiences and listen to each other with an open heart through a structured yet emergent process.
This program is open to people in Pittsburgh.
Cost: Sliding scale, from $36 - $450. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.
Note: Our registration software won't allow us to set a true "pick your price" tier, so we have pre-set tiers. If you want to contribute an amount different than one of the existing tiers, you can email Charlie at [email protected], tell her what amount you'd like to contribute, and she can add a tier for that price.
If you already filled out the interest form (it was a Google form), you do not need to complete the repeated questions (about questions, interest, etc.). If this is your first time filling out a form for Shleimut, please answer all questions in the form. Thank you!
