TAKE 4: San Antonio Black International Film Festival 2022 [#SABIFF2022] shined our theme on ANIMATION IN BLACK! In our fourth year, over four days, and at four presenting partner locations (plus two chill-out mixers @elsewhere-sa, @marksouting), we fulfilled our goal to curate impactful festival events and showcase a mix of international films made by, for, and/or about people of African descent to local SA audiences, and across the world-wide-web. Positive feedback, enriching experiences, and myriad film genres from around the globe opened the minds and emotions of diverse audiences who watched Black indie films composed of stories, perspectives, images and voices absent from mainstream platforms.

TAKE 5: #SABIFF2023 will embrace our HBCU LUV theme, celebrating media creatives who are alums of historically Black colleges and universities, and breaking through boundaries in the television and film industry from around the world. #SABIFF2023 will return with our monthly indie film showcases and post Reel Talk discussions programmed to elevate, empower and infotain.

Do you need a place to donate before year's end? We invite your partnership with the San Antonio Black International Film Festival through the resources necessary to tangibly conclude our triumphant return on a high note, and to accelerate our momentum into 2023. Community donations are the nourishment needed to grow our festival and enrich San Antonio’s cultural renaissance.
