VOOM Foundation Medical Mission
Dear Friends and family,
God has presented me with an amazing opportunity. This year I will be going on a mission trip to Nigeria with an amazing organization called Voom. As an immigrant who came here at the age of 8 and pursued the dream of becoming a CVICU nurse, I’ve always wanted to go back and volunteer to help out those in need.
Can you believe in 2013 there was no open-heart surgery in Nigeria? VOOM Foundation travels to Nigeria several times a year to train and educate the local staff while providing heart surgery to indigent patients. I am so excited to use my skills and training to make a difference to those in need.
I would love for you to consider supporting me through this mission as these trips can add up. 100% of the donations will go directly to Voom to support our volunteers travel to Nigeria and supplies.
