Purple Power Uganda Domestic Violence Awareness

Crossing Borders, Breaking Chains!

We are so excited! For the first time in 11 years, we are taking Purple Power-Domestic Violence Awareness event across our borders! Uganda is our Destination! Thus our theme for 2022 is, "Crossing Borders, Breaking Chains."


Local Ugandan politicians and first responders will be in attendance as well as survivors from our Mirembe African Village initiative. This is an effort to raise awareness about domestic abuse while breaking myths which stand in the way of victims receiving the assistance that they and their families deserve. We want to spark social progression void of violence, in the United States and abroad.
