Busia, Kenya Rainwater Harvesting
We are raising $4,500 to support the Jacob Khabenga Foundation for a rainwater harvesting project in the village of Busia, Kenya, Africa. They have not had a clean sustainable water source ever. Global Water Works has brought together the people, process and technology to install the initial rainwater harvesting system. They receive an average of 680 mm or 26 inches of rain per year. More than enough to provide water for all the needs of the village.
