Owelette's Veterinary Bills
Rescued as a stray, sweet Owelette needs a leg amputation surgery
Sweet, spunky little Owelette arrived at Adoption First as a stray. At some point, her tiny little paw got stuck in something causing paralysis of the radial nerve. She isn't able to flip the paw pad down correctly so is walking on her wrist instead of the paw pad. This tiny little gal is working hard to gain the weight needed so that she can weigh in at the 4 pounds needed to safely have her surgery. While we are not sure what her life before coming to the rescue was like, her foster has been working with her daily to gain her trust and confidence. Over the last several weeks, Owelette has opened up and as her foster put it "become a purring machine". This tough girl doesn't complain and seems to make the best of every situation, no matter what life throws at her. We are needing to raise $400 to cover the cost of Owelette's amputation surgery so that she can continue to heal and find her FUR-ever family.
