Parenting is hard work. To help parents navigate the waters of raising thoughtful, compassionate people, DBFA will be hosting "Tough Talks," a parent speakers series led by distinguished experts. Join the discussion and learn about topics ranging from how to talk to your kids about racial inequality, to how to deal with a difficult toddler. Event is free and open to DBFA members only. March 27th - Join Dr. Tehya for a discussion on race, inequality and bias.
May 31st - Join Dr. Goldstein for a discussion on screen time, developing minds and the influence of social media for growing tweens and teens.
Our "Tough Talks" Speaker Series will be held in the auditorium of the University of Maryland BioPark, 801 W. Baltimore St. There is a parking garage located across the street at the University of MD Community Engagement Center (870 W. Baltimore St.) as well as metered, on-street parking.
This event is Free and open to all DBFA members but registration is required. Childcare will be available for $5 per child. Please register your child(ren) if you will be utilizing the childcare.
