Heroes of the Neighborhood Tickets

Heroes of the Neighborhood is our annual fundraiser where UNI honors and uplifts individuals or organizations who have made a positive impact in the community of Southwest Detroit. This year our theme is experiencing Springwells! We will have a neighborhood block-style party with food from local restaurants, live performances, and community resources! UNI will also be honoring our high school graduates during the ceremony portion of our event. Help us congratulate our 2022 graduating seniors! At our event, you will also be able to purchase raffle tickets and we will have a cash bar! 

Urban Neighborhood Initiatives, Inc. (UNI) is a nonprofit community organization located in the heart of Southwest Detroit. In 1997, we started our mission of working with the community to create safe and thriving environments where people want to live, work, and play at 8300 Longworth Detroit, MI 48209. Since then, we have focused on 4 areas of work that are: Education, Youth Development, Land Use, and Economic Development. 

Our approach to neighborhood revitalization combines physical, social, and economic solutions in synergistic combinations that attract private investments from residents and stakeholders. Without the ongoing support of our partners, funders, donors, and residents, we would not be able to do all that we do.
