Join us to see the Dan Neville Quintet at the TAC JAZZ FEST, June 12th at 7:30pm! This show will feature Dan Neville on vibraphone, Erick Peralta on piano, Aaron Germain on bass, Adrian Areas on congas, and Brian Andres on drums.
Dan Neville is an award winning vibraphonist, composer, performer, educator and arranger, based part time in the NY area and part time in the SF Bay Area. From Sonoma, CA, Dan grew up playing guitar self taught. He began studying music formally with Bennett Friedman at Santa Rosa JC, where he started playing the vibraphone. He went on to study composition and piano with Rebeca Mauleon at City College of San Francisco, received a BA in Jazz Music at California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, CA and is currently studying for Jazz Arranging at WPUNJ with Cecil Bridgewater and Bill Charlap. Dan has accomplished several musical projects in Cuba and Colombia. He has recorded and/ or shared the stage with John Santos, Anthony Blea, Adrian Areas, Juan Carlos Formell, John Benitez, and many more. Click here to find out more about Dan Neville.
The TAC JAZZ FEST is an ongoing festival at the Temescal Art Center (511 48th St, Oakland, CA) presented by Jazz in the Neighborhood. Free jam sessions at 2pm hosted by incredible Bay Area musicians, and two ticketed evening concerts each day at 5pm and 7:30pm (limited seating). Advance tickets are $15, and door tickets will be $20. Pre-sale ends an hour before the show, so make sure to reserve your tickets early and receive the discounted price!
