EOTO's 5th Annual Juneteenth Soul Food Brunch
Uplifting Black Fathers & Sons
Juneteenth is meant to be a celebration of liberation and freedom for Black people in America.
Despite the legal end to slavery, WE know that Black People are not FREE of oppression and generations of race-related trauma.
100's of years of discrimination, pain, and abuse have created chains that continue to bind many of our minds (and bodies) - blocking OUR ability to build community & coalition amongst ourselves and to heal & prosper as individuals.
Every day EOTO promotes the truth - that we are POWERFUL!
That OUR lived experiences make US the EXPERTS in creating and implementing solutions that WILL have lasting IMPACTS for OUR families, communities, and generations to come!
On this day, June 19th, we take time to direct OUR attention to Black Men - our fathers, sons, brothers, and friends who often are left out of supportive resources, community support, and engagement.
Join us as we CELEBRATE, UPLIFT, & work to EMPOWER Black Men to lead in OUR community.
