2022 PET PALS FOTO FUNDRAISER
Welcome to the Pender Humane Society's 2022 PET PALS FOTO FUNDRAISER website. We are a NO- KILL shelter located in Burgaw, North Carolina, dedicated to improving the lives of homeless and unwanted animals by providing shelter and medical care while finding loving and responsible permanent homes. We work to prevent cruelty and overpopulation among dogs and cats and to help assist and educate the public about responsible pet care. We rescue animals from Pender, New Hanover & Onslow counties. We are not funded by any Federal, State, or Local entities and rely primarily on donations to operate the Shelter.
We want all our family, friends, and supporters to be actively involved in this campaign. We want you to either (1) donate a lump sum payment, or to donate on a monthly basis, all through our DONATE button shown below, or (2) follow the instructions below to start your own Fundraising effort by featuring YOUR PET(S) in your OWN campaign.
Our Furry Friends who currently
spend their days in our Shelter awaiting their FUREVER HOME are dependent on
YOU for support. As you can see from the
photos shown below, they are healthy and well cared for by our Staff and
Volunteers, their medical conditions (if any,) are looked after, but all they
want is to be with that special person or persons who will give them that
special care in a loving and caring FUREVER home.
They want and DESERVE a FUREVER HOME, and your support makes that possible.

Now for the BIG QUESTION: WHAT
DOES MY DONATION DO FOR PCHS? It allows us to keep our doors open, take
animals to and from the vet, and to get animals scheduled to be euthanized from
other shelters, pays for food and water, waste removal, utilities, and most
importantly our Vet bills, to keep all our animals healthy until they find

Monthly Bills YOU will help to pay
with your donation:
- Veterinary Bills $4,500/month
- Food and Supplies $1,200/month
- Utilities $1,000/month
- Van Expenses $1,000/month
- Insurance $900/month

So HOW do you help us TODAY in our mission? Two easy ways: YOU CAN DONATE DIRECTLY (LUMP SUM OR MONTHLY PAYMENTS) using the MAKE A DONATION button shown below, and your contribution will go to the general fundraising campaign. You can send the overall website link to your contacts, and they can also donate to the general campaign or pick pets they want to support on the special campaign pages.

CAMPAIGN for your own pet(s) to enter them to win special recognition with
Pender Humane by using the BECOME A FUNDRAISER button. You can enter a picture or pictures of your
pets, and create a campaign. You then
send THAT link to your contacts asking them to vote for YOUR specific pets.
We have categories of Cat, Dog, Horse, Goat and Other! The winner in each category will be determined by the amount of money raised. We will announce the winners at our Spaghetti Supper on December 31, 2022, at the Hampstead Women’s Club, 14435 US Hwy 17, Hampstead NC. We will publish the winner's names and pictures in our Newsletter, and provide recognition on our website.
