Space Inspires! Higher Orbits uses space to inspire students in STEM and STEAM while building teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.  We are known for our multi-day space inspired STEM/STEAM program we run called Go For Launch! where high-school students across the United States work with an Astronaut and compete to have their experiment launched into space. Higher Orbits makes space, in a variety of ways, accessible to all students regardless of their STEM background. During pandemic we ran a multitude of Space at Home kits where students across the country could be part of space inspired STEM learning and inspirational talks right from home.


Just in time for the holidays, we are releasing a Space at Home gift box. This kit will be full of space inspired STEM/STEAM Activities, space crafts, 2 Astronaut webinars, and of course the highly coveted Space Swag!  Slightly different from our previous Space at Home kits, there will be no "live" activities. All activities will be pre-recorded videos (along with written instructions) or activities with only written instructions. There will be 2 live Astronaut talks that will happen within the first 3 months of 2023 (dates to be determined.) 


NOTE - At this time the kit will not arrive in time for the holidays but will arrive in January prior to the live Astronaut talks.




TIMING DETAILS
These kits will only be available for purchase for a limited time. All orders received by December 7th will ship in time for the holidays.  Kits ordered after rthis date can not be guaranteed for the holidays but we will do our best. The Astronaut webinars will all be scheduled for to be determined dates sometime between end of January through March. For those who are unable to attend the live Astronaut webinars, a recording link will be sent to all who are participants in this Higher Orbits Space At Home Kit.

More than just fun, this kit is an educational package of STEM and STEAM activities that will fire the imagination and propel students thinking to higher orbits and encourage minds to dream bigger.

Frequently Asked Questions
I received the Higher Orbits Space at Home kit previously, is this different?
Yes! This will have different swag, and different activities than all of the previous kits. Yes, we do send a Higher Orbits patch and sticker in each kit so if you're accumulating a few of these you can give them to friends! (Or you can send them back to us for reuse. It's just too challenging to make some kits with them and some without... plus, you may love having half a dozen of our patches or stickers!)

So what exactly do I get in this Higher Orbits Space at Home Kit?
We don't want to spoil the surprise and tell you exactly what you will be receiving but we can tell you it will be fun space themed swag, space inspired crafts, and STEM/STEAM/Space activities you can do at home (some with pre-recorded videos to lead you through the activity) or with friends.  There will also be 2 Astronaut webinars with this kit. Access to the all the activities and videos, including the Astronaut webinars, is available only to those who purchase this specific kit.

- we can resend the kit to you at an additional charge of the postage and a $10 service fee
