Our community has a proud tradition of coming together to help others. As part of our efforts to strengthen our area, Itasca County is offering employees the opportunity to support their community through United Way of 1000 Lakes.

United Way cares deeply for things that are worth fighting for, like preparing preschoolers for kindergarten, preparing youth for success, helping families become financially stable, and providing essential human needs like food, shelter, and safety.

Now through December 2nd, you will have the opportunity to play your part by giving through easy payroll deduction, one-time or recurring cash/check/credit card, or bill me options.

*Employee Incentives & Activities: 

• Throughout the campaign, employees will have a chance to earn entries into the annual raffle. Prizes include $100 Rapids Brewing, turkey, and homemade pie gift certificates.
• Silent Auction with "themed" baskets donated by the individual departments
• Watch out for the Flock of Flamingos that may be coming your way!  If your unit gets “flocked”, you should make a donation to the United Way and then you can choose the unit you wish to flock next!
