The Bare Life Review
A member of Intersection for the Arts
The Bare Life Review is a literary journal committed to publishing work exclusively by immigrant and refugee authors.
There are 65 million displaced people in the world today, and countless more living far from their homes in search of a stabler, more promising life. Under these conditions of statelessness and relegation to society’s unseen-or-heard margins, each written word is an act of courage: an assertion and affirmation of its author’s existence, an insistence upon her innate human value.
By contributing to The Bare Life Review, you are helping to recognize this value, and to celebrate and champion a rich, global literature.
