Enrollment for Birth Roots' 100 Days of Winter

The 100 Days between the winter solstice and the spring equinox - in Maine with a toddler - is uniquely challenging so we turned to... 100 Days of Community Supported Parenting! Beginning the week of December 21st and for the following 14 weeks, Birth Roots will deliver to your inbox love letters, pep talks, live links, activities and connection to a community of other folks parenting a toddler during the long winter months for just $1/day.

Join us for 3 months of content, programming and connection, 100 ideas, reminders, tips, tricks and ways to stay afloat this winter.

This program is ideal for those parenting toddlers. That might mean parenting one toddler, a toddler plus an infant, or a toddler plus an older sibling. The suggested activities for children hover around the 6 months to 36 months developmental window; the support for parents is relevant regardless of age.

Enrollment in 100 Days of Winter is $100 per family. For some, this cost feels comfortable; for others, this cost is prohibitive.

Every family is welcome. To make 100 Days of Winter accessible to every family, we’ve structured enrollment to offer four options:

· $100 or 3 monthly payments of $33: This includes enrollment for up to two parents in the same household;

· $150: This is the “us plus” level which includes your own enrollment and funds a partial scholarship.

· $200: This is the “our family and yours” level which includes your own enrollment and funds a full scholarship OR gift enrollment for a friend.

· $50: This is the accessibility level enrollment. **If this level remains cost prohibitive, please email us at [email protected] to receive a coupon code to lower the cost further. No application necessary.

For local families: The parent support from the 100 Days of Winter program can be accessed from anywhere! Additionally, there is an optional Outdoor Playdates component that many of our local families are inquiring about. Families can register for several of these one hour sessions in the Birth Roots Outdoor Classroom and/or an unlimited number of unfacilitated off-site playdates. A registration link for facilitated sessions will be sent the month prior to all 100 Days of Winter participants (e.g. registration for January 2023 dates will open in late December). Gatherings in the Outdoor Classroom will have a per family, per session additional processing fee; off-site meetups are free to all 100 Days registrants. The link for enrolling in the Outdoor Classroom Playdates will be sent to 100DoW participants in December and January for the January and February sessions!

Invite a friend wherever they live! Everyone will have access to any missed editions on a private page on our website.
