Elisabetta Cappetta Memorial 2022

To Fund MBC Research

Elisabetta Cappetta was diagnosed at age 60 with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a very aggressive cancer. At the time of diagnosis, she was at stage 3. Due to other health issues, her treatment options were limited. She underwent a single mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. Unfortunately, a few months after completing treatment, Elisa felt a pain in her leg and it was determined the cancer had spread. She attempted another form of chemotherapy but it made her too sick. She made the brave decision to enter hospice in May of 2018. She passed away on June 24. 

There is so much to learn about breast cancer which is why it is very important to donate to foundations like The Cancer Couch. The Cancer Couch only funds Metastatic Breast Cancer research to find better treatments for patients like Elisabetta. And all donations to The Cancer Couch are Doubled by an anonymous donor.  So join me in donating once again this year to The Cancer Couch in memory of mom, a loving, generous and brave mom, wife, nonna, aunt and friend.
