For more than 75 years, HSI has led the way as a resource and advocate for Salem’s treasured historic places and spaces. Only by the generosity of our members and friends like you have we been able to continue this important work, undaunted and with new creativity, dedicated to preserving Salem’s unique historic character.

 

To support our mission of advocacy for the preservation of Salem’s historical heritage and character, we ask that you consider a contribution to Historic Salem Inc. Your contribution now will help us to continue our ongoing presence as a stakeholder at the table when development threatens to undercut Salem’s identity and value as an exemplar of American history. Donations support HSI’s operating costs, including the maintenance of our headquarters, the historic 18th-century Nathaniel Bowditch House, advocacy staff and educational offerings.


HSI donor and member support has been an investment in preserving the historic character of our city, both now and for future generations.
