Sabre Friends Sending Women to College 2022
Join Other Sabre Friends to help a woman go to college!
Join Other Sabre Friends to help a woman go to college and change her life by supporting an Empowering Women as Leaders STAR Scholarship. EWL provides nontraditional age (23+) women in financial need the opportunity to re-invent their lives through scholarship, mentoring, and access to a network of professionals. The EWL Scholarship recipients are called STARs who produce their own light and energy in the world.
The Sabre Friends Scholarship Fund was created in 2020 as an opportunity to give back together to support women in their journey to grow and establish their leadership and careers. We are blessed to have worked for a great company and be a great team growing the business together early in our careers.
Our STARs are often overcoming major life challenges such as divorce, abuse, homeless. Many of our recipients are single moms; and their children are now saying they are going to college because they saw their mom do it. So your contribution is also changing the lives of generations to come!
As of October 2022, we are celebrating 18 years!! And we are still growing and proud of EWL’s
success. EWL has
· Helped
over 120 women go to college and to re-shape their lives.
· Awarded over
$350,000 in scholarships
· Achieved a
graduation success rate of 95%
· Maintained
STAR average GPA of 3.5+
· Launched two new chapters in 2022 – Austin & Houston
In 2021, the Sabre Friends raised $5,000 which provided two women with a one-year EWL STAR Scholarship. In 2022, let's continue to work together to reach a giving level of $6,000+.
We greatly appreciate the continued giving of our Founding (2020/21) Sabre Friends. Your support to enroll other Sabre Friends enables us to make an even bigger impact together!
Every
single dollar and every single donation will help us reach the 2022 goal.
Big or small, we appreciate them all!
With great
appreciation,
