Hector, age 5, is diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, global developmental delay, epilepsy, trach/ventilator dependence, g-tube dependence, and encephalopathy with metabolic injury. He is receiving palliative care support. The family's house is too small for everyone to fit and to care for Hector's needs. Work is unpredictable and Hector is consistently in the hospital, so income is limited. Their medical services and medications are not covered by insurance. The family is experiencing loss of their only stream of income due to overwhelming medical bills. Mitchell Thorp Foundation has granted the family assistance under the Medical & Home Assistance Program. We can use your help to get the family through this difficult time.
