Vivo! Fall Orchestra Concert

Join the Metropolitan Youth Symphony as they perform an in-person concert on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Fine Arts Auditorium at Joliet Junior College, Building K (Joliet location). Pay-What-You-Wish Donations are accepted online and at the door.

The Vivo! concert features a 45-piece orchestra under the direction of Peter Lipari. Maestro Lipari is the Director of Orchestras at Joliet Township High School and Music Director of the West Suburban Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Singers, and Festival Orchestra. 

The concert program will include full-of-life pieces from a vast variety of composers including Tico-Tico by Zequinha Abreu, Carmen Suite No. 1 by Bizet, The Bamboula by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and Overture to "Candide" by Leonard Bernstein.
