The Power of Hope facilitated by Kristi Slette, M.Ed. and Rebecca Snearly, WCHD is based on the work of Dr. Chan Hellman, University of Oklahoma, co-author of Hope Rising and Hope Centered and Trauma Informed ®
Whatcom Family & Community Network (WFCN) hosts this 2-hour interactive virtual training and is available on the following dates:
Thursday, January 26, 2022 from 3-5pm via Zoom
This training is FREE and open to the public, however registration is required to send the training link and materials.
Space is limited to 40 participants.
The Power of Hope dives deeper into the Science of Hope, which promises that high hope is the most reliable predictor of thriving. The single session overviews the basic theory and tools that can help you understand how to raise hope within individuals, families, schools, non-profit organizations and communities.
