OwlVenture Summer Camp

Founded in 2016, the OwlVenture Summer Camp is for students at Angel Oak Elementary to prevent education loss over the summer and to support students who may need extra instruction. The OwlVenture Summer Camp is led by Allen Reed of Johns Island. Reed collects funds to support the camp, teachers salaries, student materials, lunch, and transportation.  Since 2020, over 400 students have completed the program with just under 90% on average testing at or above their prior spring semester test scores in reading and math!
