Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Vigil 2022

The Coalition's annual Domestic Violence Awareness Vigil is back, and we want you to join North Brooklyn Coalition with St. Nick's Alliance and Los Sures as we chant through the streets of Brooklyn to make a loud and bold statement, We Believe Domestic Violence Survivors, and we will not be Silent until There is No Violence!

For this yearly Domestic Violence Awareness event, we continue to remember those who've lost their loved ones to domestic violence. Together we will continue to honor survivors of abuse and center their resilience through community building and uplifting other survivors living in silence.

We invite you and all community members in North Brooklyn to participate in this year's Domestic Violence Awareness Vigil. For those who cannot make it in person to support, please share this event with loved ones, friends, and coworkers. You may be surprised, but almost everyone knows someone who has been affected directly or indirectly by domestic abuse, and by sharing this event with them, they can learn that there is help available for them. Free resources can help them with every step to living a healthier and safer life.

Together we can come to put an end to domestic violence!
