Empower MyRide


Can you spare .33 cents a day? If you could spare .33 cents a day it would help fund the MyRide program which allows us at Empower Cocke County to provide some transportation for the elderly to get to their Doctors appointments, pick up pharmacy prescriptions, upkeep on hygiene such as getting hair cuts, going to the bank, attending bible study classes and going grocery shopping. This service is desperately needed for our elders. Cocke County offers no transportation services and many of our elderly community must get to The Cancer Center in Morristown or Sevierville on a regular basis. Our drivers volunteer their time and provide their own vehicle to transport the clients. The funding goes to provide additional insurance, an online operating system, coordinator payroll, and other supplies that our needed such as stamps and envelopes due to this population of people not having email nor internet. Please help meet our seniors needs. Thank You!
