We are looking for speakers for our BKQ Leadership Life Skills program at Lewis Middle School.
Lewis Middle School students are participating in a 8-week program learning from various community leaders and mentors about 10 key areas that will enhance their leadership and life skills for the future.
These topics included:
- Self Esteem and Confidence.
- Self-Empowerment.
- Goal setting/ Prioritization.
- Feelings and Emotions/ Empathy.
- Self-Respect.
- Negotiation and Refusal/ How to Say No
- Gratefulness and Appreciation.
- Bullying and Gossiping/ Relationships.
- Social Media and its Impact.
Through these discussions and sharing of experiences, we teach our students that they are kings and queens and not slaves to the labels that society may place on them early on. We are very excited to be able to help our students “change their narrative” and need your help.
