Graceful Ordinary's talented chefs have crafted a mouth-watering menu that will tantalize your taste buds, while the cocktail pairings will perfectly complement each dish.
The Graceful Ordinary, one of St. Charles’ newest restaurants has quickly become a hot spot and a culinary masterpiece. Twice featured in Chicago Magazine (“Our 30 Favorite Things to Eat Right Now” & “March Hot Spots) as well as Forbes, Crains, NY Times, Naperville Living, Hinsdale Living, The Dailey Harold and others, the Graceful Ordinary has become locally famous for exquisite cuisine in a beautifully cozy atmosphere. Chef Chris Curren’s appealing, ambitious menu, which offers options like shrimp and grits with Creole butter sauce; steak tartare with bone marrow emulsion; yellow polenta with wood-roasted wild mushrooms; and basil- and mint-flecked curry cauliflower with caramelized Greek yogurt, raisins and pine nuts is tempting and delicious. This year, you will have a chance to bid on a Tasting menu with cocktail pairings at the chef’s table at The Graceful Ordinary. Chef Chris will provide interesting insights on his menu and style, while you take in the view of the open kitchen on one side and the sparkling river on the other.
