The arts have always been a huge part of who I am. As the daughter of a musician who grew up with my Dad's guitar and vocals as the soundtrack of my life, I found my own footing in dance and theatre. My years of practice and performing gave me the opportunity to build unwavering belief in myself, and this foundation is one I've leaned upon heavily as an entrepreneur. I've since transitioned to the proud title of dance + theatre mom, and watching my children's creativity + confidence grow has fortified my belief in how important access to the arts is to our community. It's a true honor to be dusting off my (very old!) dancing shoes to raise money for a cause that means so much to me.
The Dancing for the Arts Gala is the largest annual fundraiser to support the cultural events programs and general operations of the Maryland Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (FEIN 20-3022352) whose mission is to provide a broad range of creative and collaborative experiences in quality education, presentations, and exhibits in all disciplines of the arts; and to build and operate a visual and performing arts center for the region to have greater access to quality spaces to exhibit, present, and participate in the arts.

Thank you for supporting the arts in our region! When you give to the arts, the arts give back.
