Lisa Carchedi, MD, MS C-IAYT
is Dancing for the Arts!

Dr. Lisa Carchedi practices psychiatry at the Klein Family Harford Crisis Center in Bel Air.
Here's why she's dancing for the arts:
The performing and fine arts evoke emotions, promote unity and foster cultural diversity. These are good reasons for us as individuals as well as a community to support and participate in the arts.
Research shows that art, music, and dance are complementary therapies used with people who have mood, anxiety, cognitive and pain complaints.
As a psychiatrist raised in a musical family, the question isn't, "Why do I support the Maryland Center for the Arts?" It's, "How could I not?"
The Dancing for the Arts Gala is the largest annual fundraiser to support the cultural events programs and general operations of the Maryland Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (FEIN 20-3022352) whose mission is to provide a broad range of creative and collaborative experiences in quality education, presentations, and exhibits in all disciplines of the arts; and to build and operate a visual and performing arts center for the region to have greater access to quality spaces to exhibit, present, and participate in the arts.

Thank you for supporting the arts in our region! When you give to the arts, the arts give back.
