2023 Petite Antiques Forum and House Tours
The Friends of Magnolia Mound invite you to attend the 23rd Annual Petite Antiques Forum and House Tours on Saturday April 1st, 2023.
This year 's speaker is R. Larry Schmidt, President of the Board of Trustees of the
Historic BK House and Gardens in New Orleans. His lecture, “If these Walls
Could Talk—A Small Museum with Many Stories”, will highlight the history, restoration,
and ongoing stewardship of this unique French Quarter structure. Built in 1826 by a French Creole family, the
Beauregard-Keyes home is a rare example in the Vieux Carre of a raised center
hall dwelling with Federal influences.
The house
tours feature two private historic homes and gardens in
New Roads, Louisiana: the 200-year-old LeJeune House, and its neighbor, the
Saurage House, built in 1905. Both homes and their gardens have been
beautifully restored by their owners.
Limited Number of Tickets and Bus seats Available. Tickets are nonrefundable.
