InTEAgrate a mi Granja A.C.
One in every 115 children is
diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and in the past few decades, the
prevalence of ASD has increased dramatically. However, only less than 40%
manage to obtain specialized care and therapies.
InTEAgrate a Mi Granja A.C. “La
Granja” is a nonprofit organization conceived to provide complementary and
alternative therapies in a safe, inclusive, accessible, divergent and fun
setting for children, teens and young adults with ASD, that will encourage
their self-sufficiency and emotional co-regulation skills, thus promoting their
functional integration into society.
Our vision is to bring children and
teens with autism spectrum disorder closer to animal therapy, equine therapy,
art therapy, horticulture therapy and music therapy in an environment full of
positive stimuli designed to enhance their well-being and autonomy within a
joyful and invigorating outdoor setting.
Our social impact is targeted to
children and teens from 3 to 18 years of age diagnosed with the autism spectrum
disorder, as well as their families, in the city of Tijuana and surrounding
areas. Our goal is to initiate construction no later than this summer.

families by addressing their needs for social integration and well-being.
