Russian Ridge Hike
Sunday, March 26, 8am
Join SFBBO biologists for a hike at Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve! In addition to getting some fresh air and exercise while looking for birds and other wildlife, you'll learn about our recent work studying Burrowing Owls at the preserve. We will hike ~2.5 miles which includes getting great views from Borel Hill, the highest named point in San Mateo County.
This event is limited to 12 participants and registration is required. Additional details will be sent in the confirmation email. We will also ask all participants to fill out a short health self-assessment form 24 hours before the event as part of our COVID-19 safety protocols.
Questions? Contact Sirena Lao at [email protected]. If this event is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist here and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.
This program is possible thanks to support from the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District. If you need assistance getting to the location, we may have limited funds available to help offset the cost of transportation - please contact us to inquire.
