We need volunteers to help with our Recycling Roundup events. These are drive-through/drop-off outdoor events. We will collect recyclable materials ranging from mattresses, tires, textiles, batteries, and traditional recyclable materials. Tasks will include: Helping with event setup, directing the flow of event traffic, collecting, unloading, and sorting materials from attendees, surveying attendees, and passing out educational materials.
Event Times: 9 am to 2:30 pm
Volunteer shift time frame: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (2 shifts)
Shift 1: 8:00 - 11:30 am
Shift 2: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Additional Information: Please bring a reusable water bottle and dress appropriately: wear closed-toed, comfortable shoes. Snacks will be provided. Please consider bringing a chair if you want to sit at your station.
