February Letter!
Dear Friends,
The whole month of January
completely ZIPPED BY! Honestly, I’m not even sure where the days have gone. Do
you ever feel this way? This month is the “Month of Love” – Valentine’s month.
My wife, Ms. Donna, and I have been married for almost 29 years and in the rush
of work, life, family (7 grandkids), and so much else; we have to be careful
that we don’t get disconnected from one another.
I also want to be careful
that the Union Gospel Mission doesn’t get disconnected from you, our financial
partners, and our clients. Sometimes I have to slow down and make myself sit
with our residential clients and just fellowship with them. Along the same
lines, sometimes I need to slow down and connect with those who make our work
possible. Yes, I am going to ask you to send a donation to help us continue
providing all of the services we provide for our neighbors in need, but I would
also love to connect with you personally.
Would you be willing for me
to come and visit with you for a few minutes? I would love to connect to see
how we can pray for each other in this new year. You can drop me a note with
your gift or you can reach me by phone, email, or social media. Our work in
impacting lives is vital and we cannot do it without help from you and folks
just like you!
Your gift helps us continue "Meeting Needs, Making Change, and
Magnifying Christ!"
Serving Christ and the
Community,
Rev.
Executive Director
P.S. Won’t you
prayerfully consider sending a substantial gift as soon as possible!
