33rd Project Blue River Rescue in Kansas City
Join Missouri Stream Teams for the 33rd Project Blue River Rescue in Kansas City: on April 1, 2023 from 9 AM until 1 PM, helping to pick up stormdrain trash along banks and illegal dumps on adjacent roads. You must register online. A hot dog lunch will be served from 11 am -1 pm. After picking up trash at your site, come to Lakeside Nature Center to celebrate with your friends. Every year volunteers find unique ‘trash treasures’. Bring your finds to the trash contest at 12 Noon during lunch at Lakeside Nature Center. The crowd will decide the winners.
To register, we are asking for one registration for individuals or groups. For groups, please provide only one registration for your group. Groups will be able to specify the number of volunteers in their group.
Current health protocols will be followed.
Individuals will pick up supplies in a drive thru line at Lakeside Nature Center (4701 E. Gregory, KCMO) on the day of the event. Drive Thru Only. No Parking, Do not get out of your car! We will come to you. Please Be Patient.
For Groups, we will contact you about getting your site assignment and supplies before the event.
Dress for the weather, bring your own water.
