In November we had the first ever Big Dig. The purpose of the event was to “pot up” seedlings we intend to grow to the size that they can then be planted in areas of Durham that lack adequate tree canopy.  In November we succeeded in potting approximately 300 oak seedlings. But we only got about 40% of the job done!  Thus The Big Dig II. We need to get the remaining seedlings potted up before spring kicks into full gear.
