350Brooklyn’s Run For Your Lives Fun Run

Help 350Brooklyn expand its climate work while enjoying beautiful Prospect Park' Join us on Sunday morning, May 21. Stroll, walk, jog or run around Prospect Park’s approximately 5K loop on behalf of climate work that’s effective, that’s local, and that’s volunteer-driven. Go at whatever pace suits you–strollers, skateboards, bicycles welcome, too!

We'll be along Park Drive to the right of the horseback riding ring. Come in the Bartel-Pritchard Square entrance (the rotary at Prospect Park West, 15th Street, and Prospect Park Southwest) and walk in a couple hundred feet.  You'll see us--we'll be the ones with the big blue "Livable Future" banner. Start anytime after 8:30 am at whatever time that gets you back to the start around 10 am.

When you finish, light refreshments will be waiting for you. We’ll have great music from 350Brooklyn’s own brass band, the Eco-Tones. And everyone who finishes will be entered in our raffle with amazing prizes. We’ve got gift cards from local bookshops, restaurants, movie theaters, and bakeries. Maybe you’d like to take a workshop, or get a deep massage, or frame a print. Or maybe you’ll be able to shop for delicious artisanal ingredients for your kitchen. We’’ll host a drawing around 10:15. So stick around after your run!

Got a tee shirt with a plant or animal on it? Or in the colors of the Earth? Or maybe you have a 350Brooklyn tee (we’ll have those for sale there, too.) This is the planet that we all love, so let’s celebrate it!
