Create a Fundraiser or a Contest for FYP Mission

Hello! We are the Bates family and we sold our home and everything else to move to Mexico and create a home and school.

We want to help abandoned teens heal from trauma, understand their potential, and have skills to break the cycle of poverty, addiction and abuse.

These youth want to create loving families and make a unique contribution to the world. You can help!

You can help us create a healing, loving, supportive environment for abandoned teens in Mexico!

1) Set a fundraising goal and try to beat it as a group (or individual) or

2) Find a friend or a group to compete with and see which of you can raise the most money for this cause!

3) Fundraise to come on a service trip with us on your own or with a team.

Ideas:

• Your team at work vs another team
• Boys against girls in your school, work, or church
• Club vs club
• Sports team vs sports team
• Homeschool group vs homeschool group
• Your family vs another family

To get started:

1. Click on "Create Your Page" to create your fundraising page for yourself or your group. Set a goal for yourself.

2. Invite: Talk to a friend, school, team, church, club, or family about having a contest with you. Invite them to create their fundraising page. 

3. Choose a deadline for your fundraising efforts 

4. Share! You could share on social media or create a social media challenge, pin flyers, plan an event like a 5K or family hike, hold a yard sale or auction, invite businesses to donate, plan a performance, do a car wash... be as creative as you'd like!

5. Email: When your deadline arrives, email us at [email protected] to let us know who won (or if you met your goal), how many people were in your team, and a mailing address so we can mail you a thank you gift!
