Join Hero Kids Foundation and our friends at VB Surf Sessions for one of our highly anticipated kayak excursions!

Your afternoon of relaxation - and fun! – awaits you along the Rudee Inlet; these eco-tours are ideal for you and your littlest heroes ages 3 and up.

Your instructor will teach you everything you need to know about kayaking before you go, and serve as your tour guide along the way. These tours are the perfect opportunity to get a little sunshine and bonding time in - plus, you might even spot a dolphin (or bald eagle, river otter, and lots of other local critters!).

Find details below and click the link at the bottom of the page to register today as class sizes are limited to 10 participants each!

Who: This excursion is exclusively reserved for our families in uniform, including first responders (EMT, paramedic, fire, and military currently serving at home). We can’t wait to help you and your child connect, restore, and thrive with an afternoon on the water!

When: Choose from one of the two available options (11am or 1pm) on April 15th to enable us to serve as many families as possible (feel free to email [email protected] to be placed on our waiting list).

Where: Tours take off from the Owl Creek Boat Ramp, located at 717 General Booth Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA  23451.

Deadline to register is two weeks prior to each event. E-mail [email protected] with questions or concerns.
