Join Hero Kids Foundation and our friends at VB Surf Sessions for one of our highly anticipated stand-up paddleboard tours!
HKF's mission is to support military and first responder children and families by offering support through nature-based activities. Hosted by VB Surf Sessions, this 1-hour Standup Paddleboarding Tour offers a chance to explore the calm waters of Rudee Inlet, while making memories that last forever! We follow the currents on a short route through Owl's Creek and behind the Virginia Beach Aquarium, and we will be sure to highlight all the wild animals as we go.
Who: This excursion is exclusively reserved for our families in uniform, including first responders (EMT, paramedic, fire, and military currently serving at home). We can’t wait to help you and your child connect, restore, and thrive with an afternoon on the water!
When: Choose from one of the available options in May or September to enable us to serve as many families as possible (feel free to email [email protected] to be placed on our waiting list).
Where: Tours take off from the Owl Creek Boat Ramp, located at 717 General Booth Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
Deadline to register is two weeks prior to each event. E-mail [email protected] with questions or concerns.
