Lone Creek Events is an event planning company. Occasionally, we volunteer our services and resources to support non-profit organizations so that they can focus on their community impacts.
Tuesday, December 5, 2023, we are hosting a golf tournament at Hermann Park Golf Course to benefit The Cowboys 4 Heroes 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with an anticipated donation of $25,000. Arrive as early as 7:00 am to enjoy a breakfast combo, warm up on the driving range, and more as we will tee off at 9:00 am (shotgun start/scramble play). Meet us at the staging area at 8:45 am for announcements and a moment of silence. To prevent delay of play, registration will end at 8:45 am. Please plan accordingly.
Cowboys 4 Heroes was established in 2009 to assist physical/mental wounded military and their families during the challenging transition from active duty to civilian life. Over the past 14 years, the volunteers that comprise Cowboys 4 Heroes (C4H, Inc.) have provided over 1,500,000 meals and nutritional support to active-duty military, veterans, their families, and our first responders. The 2022 C4H golf tournament provided an additional 6,000 meals with our $18,000 donation.
The meals C4H has provided over the years is partly due to our local FFA & 4H chapters in the South East Texas Region. Members of these organizations who choose to raise a steer for a livestock show spend approximately 6-12 months of preparation dedicated to agricultural experiences and education. For many of the youth, these projects sold at county & major livestock show auctions support their future higher education. C4H will be available the day of the event to discuss more about the market auction opportunities.
