Hero Kids Foundation aims to support military and first responder families and their little heroes through nature-based activities - and one of our favorite events is coming up this summer! Join us for our highly anticipated surf camp with our friends at VB Surf Sessions, happening over the course of three hours! You and your child(ren) will learn to get up on the board and be riding the waves before the end of the first hour, and work on your skills throughout the rest of camp.
Who: This excursion is exclusively reserved for our families in uniform, including first responders (EMT, paramedic, fire, and military currently serving at home). We can’t wait to help you and your child connect, restore, and thrive with an afternoon in the waves!
When: Choose from one of several available options in June, July or August to enable us to serve as many families as possible(feel free to email [email protected] to be placed on our waiting list).
Where: Lessons take place at Croatan Beach: 920 Vanderbilt Avenue, VB 23451 (paid parking available from $3-$7).
