Food Distribution at the Fall HLC Mobile Clinic
#HelpingHungerInHaiti
Please help us alleviate hunger and malnutrition in our partner communities in Arcahaie: With the spiraling unrest and continued blockades and fuel hoarding by the rival gangs in Haiti, the movement of food and supplies within the country is all but halted. This crisis has directly contributed to widespread hunger and malnutrition. According to the UN News, “45 percent of the population will be in severe hunger from March to June, and of those, more than 1.3 million are estimated to be in the emergency phase of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC).”
We need your help to bring some relief to our patients and families in Arcahaie. Our staff has organized a food distribution to take place at the same time as our small, targeted home visit clinic this month. With your help, they can purchase small amounts at a time of dried beans and rice, spaghetti and Maggi (bullion) to help their communities through this crisis. It's not much, but it's one of the only ways we can help right now, and it will have an immediate impact in our partner communities.
Thank you for supporting Haitian-led solutions in Haiti.
