2023 marks Duniya Dance and Drum Company's 16-year anniversary and we are aiming to raise $30,000 to launch our 2023 programming! We're asking for funding to support our major upcoming productions: 


1. Raíces et Révolution ("Roots and Revolution"), a dance performance about Cuba and Guinea's cultural and political relationships in collaboration with Dance Mission Theater and Susanna Pedroso. 


2. South Asian Radical History Walking Tour. Joti's project Ghadar Geet: Blood and Ink will be presented at Dance Mission Theater in April, in collaboration with the South Asian Radical History Walking Tour. The tour will cover sites of radical South Asian history in the Mission district. 


In the past 15 years, we have held regular weekly classes and provided educational anti-racist arts programming to over 30 Bay Area schools. We have produced sold-out home season shows, 4 African Arts Festivals and performed in countless showcases and celebrations. We are so grateful for the community support that helps make Duniya thrive.
