No Brasil, temos atuado prioritariamente na região de Mirandiba, Pernambuco, ajudando familías sertanejas que vivem em áreas de vulnerabilidade social. Pessoas que vivem com até meio salário mínimo, que estão à margem da sociedade e em processo de exclusão social, principalmente por fatores socioeconômicos. Essas pessoas vivem em condições precárias de moradia e saneamento, meios de subsistência inexistentes e a ausência de um ambiente familiar. Os grupos em vulnerabilidade social encontram-se em acentuado declínio do bem-estar básico e de direito dos seres humanos.

Desde 2019, nossas atuações principais na região de Mirandiba tem sido na construção de poços artesianos, e a construção e mobília de casas populares. O objetivo desta campanha de arrecadação é gerar fundos para a construção dessas casas populares mobíliadas e entregá-las a famílias em situação de extrema necessidade. Essas casas serão construidas em PVC e concreto a um custo aproximado de $7,500 dólares, além da mobília que custa cerca de $2,500 dólares. Com apenas $10,000 dólares, oferecemos uma moradia digna e iniciamos uma transformação na vida dessa família e na região de Mirandiba.

Besides our work in the US, we have also provided assistance in the city of Mirandiba, in the State of Pernambuco, Brazil, helping rural families living in areas of social vulnerability. People who live with half the minimum wage of $1,212 Reais (approximately $230 US Dollars) per month , who are on the margins of society and in the process of social exclusion, mainly due to socioeconomic factors. These people live in precarious conditions of housing and sanitation, non-existent means of subsistence and the absence of a family environment. Socially vulnerable groups are experiencing a sharp decline in the basic well-being and dignity of life.

Since 2019, our primary efforts in the Mirandiba region have been in the construction of artesian wells, and the construction and furnishing of affordable homes. The objective of this fundraising campaign is to raise funds for the construction of these furnished homes and to deliver them to families in extreme need. These homes will be built in PVC and concrete at an approximate cost of $7,500 dollars, in addition to the furniture costs of approximately $2,500 dollars. With just $10,000 dollars, we have been able to offer decent housing and begin a transformation in the life of these families and in the region of Mirandiba.
