December Letter!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Obviously, I don’t
know how big your family or your family gathering was… but we
served over 400 meals at our Thanksgiving Dinner! What a great
opportunity we had to share God’s love
with those in need, here in the Chattanooga area.
With Christmas rapidly approaching, we are now
getting ready to serve those in need for Christmas. We will be serving our
Community Christmas Dinner on Friday Dec. 23rd, from 11am – 1pm; at
the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. Not only that but we will continue
ministering to our residential clients, seeing their lives begin to change
and watching them grow. Some grow by leaps and bounds, others grow slowly, but
all are finding the things necessary to see their lives change!
As you consider gift giving during this Christmas season, please consider a gift to help the Union
Gospel Mission serve those in need and continue "Meeting Needs, Making Change, and Magnifying Christ!"
Serving Christ and the
Community,
Rev.
Executive Director
P.S. Won’t you
prayerfully consider sending a substantial gift as soon as possible!
